By downloading, installing, or using the VinSip application ("App") or visiting vinsip.app ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
VinSip provides an AI-powered wine companion app and website that includes:
- Wine label scanning and identification
- Personalized wine recommendations from an AI sommelier
- Wine venue directory (shops, bars, restaurants, wineries)
- Wine diary for tracking tastings and ratings
- Wine guides and educational content
3. Third-Party Services
VinSip integrates with third-party services to provide wine identification and recommendations. By using VinSip, you also agree to the terms and policies of these third-party services.
Apple EULA
By using this app on iOS, you agree to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
4. Subscriptions
VinSip is free to download and includes basic wine scanning. Premium features are available through subscription plans. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your device's app store settings.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create (ratings, tasting notes, wine diary entries). By using VinSip, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process your photos for wine identification purposes. You agree not to use the service for content that is:
- Illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Spam, advertising, or misleading
- Containing malware or malicious code
6. Wine Recommendations
Wine recommendations provided by VinSip's AI sommelier are personalized suggestions based on your stated preferences. They are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice. Individual taste varies, and we cannot guarantee you will enjoy every recommended wine.
7. Venue Listings
Wine venue information is compiled from public sources. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that venue details (hours, location, specialties) are always up to date. Always verify with the venue directly before visiting.
8. Intellectual Property
The VinSip name, logo, app design, and website content are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9. Age Requirement
VinSip is intended for users of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. By using VinSip, you confirm that you are of legal age to purchase and consume alcohol in your location. We do not sell or deliver alcohol.
10. Limitation of Liability
VinSip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on wine recommendations or venue information.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using VinSip at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, but these Terms will continue to apply to prior use.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VinSip operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
